This house is filled with the sort of detail that comes with careful planning and
execution. Builder Michael O'Rourke of O'Rourke Construction in Westhampton Beach and his staff worked on the house
for a year and recounts the project with pride. "A lot of fine touches
went into this house. For example, we made mockups of the kitchen design and moved the pot rack that is over the
island around to decide where to place it. The chandelier, some 28 feet over the stairwell, is cleaned and serviced
by use of a boat trailer crank worked from a hidden pulley. Instead of costing over three thousand dollars, we
were able to do the job for only a few hundred. We also made one of a kind molding for the window and door casings.
